Every set of Skookum pickups is something special. We use the finest materials available on the market and each pickup is meticulously wound for exceptional tone. Skookum sets are wound and ready to ship in a collectible metal tin!

Hey Bootstrappers, we took our popular Vintage Pro set and made it Skookum! This is the classic S-style tone and remains one of our most popular single coil sets. Each position sports staggered alnico 5 poles wrapped to a low-moderate output. 

Bridge

• Vulcanized fiber bobbins
• ALNICO 5 magnets in Vintage Stagger (Tall D)
• Gavitt push-back cloth leads
• Lightly potted in a mix of beeswax and paraffin
• Specs: 2.4H | 5.8 kOhm

Middle

• Vulcanized fiber bobbins
• ALNICO 5 magnets in Vintage Stagger (Tall D)
• Gavitt push-back cloth leads
• Lightly potted in a mix of beeswax and paraffin
• RWRP for hum-canceling when used with neck or bridge
• Specs: 2.4H | 5.8 kOhm 

Neck

• Vulcanized fiber bobbins
• ALNICO 5 magnets in Vintage Stagger (Tall D)
• Gavitt push-back cloth leads
• Lightly potted in a mix of beeswax and paraffin
• Specs: 2.2H | 5.8 kOhm
