From time to time we like to offer something a bit different from our standard menu. Every Skookum set is something special - we use some of the best materials available anywhere for a boutique-grade set of pickups, and each set ships in a really nifty collectible tin. We only list what is ready to ship, but if something appears sold out please feel welcome to stop back in a few days as we make new sets available regularly. 

Hey Bootstrappers, our Skookum Buckers set 029 sports clean vintage tones with sand-cast Alnico 4 magnets and modern 4-conductor shielded leads for versatile wiring. The covers aren't yet attached, so we can swap in whichever covers you'd prefer. You may wonder, are the rumors true? Are the hand-cut purpleheart spacers the key to truly legendary tone?

No. That's silly. But they were fun to add!

• Sand-cast ALNICO 4 magnet in the neck and bridge
• 50mm Neck, 52mm Bridge spacing
• 4 conductor shielded leads ready to split!
• Lightly potted in a mix of beeswax and paraffin 
• Resistance: ~7.4K neck, ~8.6K bridge 

Skookum buckers are assembled in the USA with USA and imported materials. Cover options from left to right: Raw Nickel, Polished Nickel, Polished Chrome, Pearl Chrome, Black Chrome. Please note that gold-plated covers may take an additional few business days as we are awaiting a new delivery of gold covers.
