Every set of Skookum pickups is something special. We use the finest materials available on the market and each pickup is meticulously wound for exceptional tone. Skookum sets are wound and ready to ship!

Hey Bootstrappers, our Bluegill set is a heckuva catch! Each position is specifically tailored for that classic 'gill-more' tone and includes correct specifications, wire, and magnet grade. This Bluegill set sports non-staggered magnets for modern fretboards of radius 9.5" or greater and gray vulcanized fiber bobbin bottoms. Comes packaged in a nifty collectible tin with parchment covers (Please message us immediately after purchase if you'd like to swap out for different covers at no additional charge). 

Bridge

• Vulcanized fiber bobbins in gray and black
• 43 AWG pure copper wire with poly insulation
• ALNICO 5 magnets
• Gavitt push-back cloth leads with 22 AWG pre-tinned wire for easy installation
• Lightly potted in a mix of beeswax and paraffin
• Resistance: 13.4 KOhm; 6.5H

Middle

• Vulcanized fiber bobbins in gray and black
• 42 AWG pure copper wire with plain enamel insulation
• ALNICO 5 magnets
• Gavitt push-back cloth leads with 22 AWG pre-tinned wire for easy installation
• Lightly potted in a mix of beeswax and paraffin
• Resistance: 5.7 KOhm; Inductance: 2.2H

Neck

• Vulcanized fiber bobbins in gray and black
• 42 AWG pure copper wire with formvar insulation
• ALNICO 5 magnets
• Gavitt push-back cloth leads with 22 AWG pre-tinned wire for easy installation
• Lightly potted in a mix of beeswax and paraffin
• Resistance: 6.2 KOhm; Inductance: 2.6H
