These pups rock the same sweet tone of our Squeaky Clean soapbars, but drop right into a humbucker form factor for a hassle-free, router-free conversion. Our HB-90 Cleans rock ALNICO 5 poles with a slight vintage underwind to deliver the push of a P90 with clean, complex tone. Each bobbin is CNC cut from Forbon® vulcanized fiber, and precisely wound in our small Ohio shop.
Check out those brushed Corian® custom covers! They're milled and finished in-shop for a look you can't get anywhere else. And unlike cheap chrome or nickle-plated brass covers, Corian® is signal-transparent and won't dampen your tone.
This particular Skookum-90 set includes some special USA-made, USA-poured alnico 5 magnets. These are magnets you may occasionally see in very high end boutique and reproduction pickups priced at $500+ per set.
As of 2025, all Skookum-90 sets have new dimensions to fit most humbucker rings without sanding or routing, and have also been redesigned to offer a better surface finish.

This Skookum-90 set is Made in the USA. Measurements are taken at around 70 degrees F and may vary due to a number of factors. This black set is ready to ship in our next USPS collection. We can apply a different cover with an additional 3 days lead time to allow glue and potting.
